February 14th is the Valentine's Day in Japan, too.
In Japan, this is the day for girls to give boys chocolate to
express their friendship and love.
(For return, boys give girls cookies or other things on "White Day",
on March 14th. )

I happened to visit one of the most famous and huge department stores in Tokyo
this evening and there I saw "a wall of girls" all over the floor where sweet things were sold.
Many, many, many young women were looking for chocolates!

This year, I didn't buy nor made any chocolate because Masaki is
not home this week on business.
Maybe I will bake some chocolate cake for him when he comes back : )
