This is UENO station.
I found a very good website to introduce
some of major
train stations in Tokyo here ---->http://www.3deearts.com/tokyo/uenoeki.html
So I don't explain this and that about the
station itself.
But I was simply impressed to find the station
is now
one hundred and twenty years old this year!
(this is the close look of the poster above.
The painting seems about the opening ceremony
of Ueno Station)
Today it has been changed to be a modern
style station
as to has a newly opened Hard Rock Cafe at
a corner of the station yard.
The shop sign says UYENO-EKI as you see.
Hmm, it seems UENO is a bit difficult for
English speaking people to pronunce?
"eki" means "station"
in Japanese. This is very easy to say, isn't
it : )
