If you happen to find something like this
in a grocery store
that deals in Japanese items, that must be
salted cherry blossoms.
It is just salted edible flower, but I really
like its
color and smell.
I sometimes make a cup of tea with it.
Put one or two Sakura in a cup and pour boiling
water
over it - and it's done.
It makes just slightly flavored salty hot
water,
but many Japanese people have loved this
graceful drink
for long years : )
