Tonight I cooked hot-pot.
It appears on our table very often during
the cold season.
It is easy to make and healthy to eat.
I put several kinds of vegetables and other
ingredients
in the boiling water in the pot.
And when everything is cooked and softened,
we eat it with PONZU sauce.(vinegar + citrus
juice + soysauce)
KUZUKIRI .... it is a kind of starch noodle.
No particular taste in itself, but it is
elastic, transparent food.
Sometimes we eat it as a dessert with some
brown sugar sauce, too.
We enjoy mainly the texture of eating it.
Chickens.. and sliced pork are my favorite!
Shiitake mushrooms....it is very famliar
to us in Japan.

I heard many people in the US and Europe
do not have
a very good impression towards mushrooms
because some of
them are poisonous.
In Japan, on the contrary, there are many
kinds of edible
mushrooms in the grocery and we consider
them as
very healthy food, so it is important to
eat them in our daily meals.
This is a fish paste ball.
It is soft and delicious! I like it : )
Besides the ingredients above, I put some
Chinese cabbage,
Tofu, garlic, green onion in the pot.
