This is KAPPA, a creature from legend.
It was believed to live in the rivers in old days.
It is naughty but doesn't attack people seriously.
Kappa often appears in stories for children so we all are familiar with this creature.
Its head and mouth, and back is very characteristic
so we can recognize it at a glance.

A word KAPPA is also found at a sushi restaurant.
"Kappa maki" is a sushi roll containing a stick of cucumber : )
