A friend of mine told me that he found some Japanese bread crumbs at a grocery store recently.
As he said he has no idea how to use it, I made some Japanese style "frai" or "deep-fry cooking" tonight.

When YOU happen to find some Japanese bread crumbs somewhere,
remeber this page and try and enjoy "furai" yourself ! : )

--HOW TO COOK JAPANESE FURAI--
(most kinds of vegetables, seafood, meat or even cheese
can be fried in Japan. My favorites are sweet potatoes, salmons,
and of course, oysters! )

I made some "kaki-furai" or fried oysters tonight.

1.First, cover the oysters with flour or cornstarch lightly.

2.Then cover it with some beatn egg.
Don't forget to add a pinch of salt to the egg.
(herbs would be also good if you like)

3. And then cover it with bread crumbs both sides.

Here it is.

4. Put enough oil in a pan and heat it at around 160C degree.
Don't worry if you don't know how hot it should be.
Drop a little piece of egg+bread crumb into the oil and check
how fast it comes up to the surface again.
If the piece stays at the bottom for seconds, the oil is not hot enough yet.
If the piece falls into the bottom and then comes up to the surface within
a second or two, that is around 160-170C.
Be careful not to burn your fingers. 160C is VERY HOT actually.
Water is boiled at 100C, you know.

5. well done : )
Now they are ready to be served.
